Does the name Soros mean anything he is the who has bought and paid for Obama, have any of you gone to congress.org and looked up the bills that Obama proposed. If Obama is elected you can kiss most of what is left of your freedoms goodbye.
In fact a good many of these comments could be considered hate mail, under the Obama regime.
Obama wants to make everyone equal, that is equally impoverished. There is even a idea kicking around congress that if your house payment happens to what the government calls disproportionately lower than the surrounding houses you could be hit with a equality tax. Pelosi has tossed out the idea of a windfall profits tax on Ira's and 401K, (what windfall profits).
So those of you that think Obama is going to give every one rainbow stew and a free bubble up, has better ask yourselves if it wasn't for some one with money to start a business, who would I work for, when Obama and the democratic congress get done with raping the productive people in this country, who will any of us work for.

No one knows enough about O'Bama to know if his character is indeed being impugned. From what I've seen, wishy washy might be the best description for him. He changes his positions more than a room full of kids playing musical chairs.

Sadly enough, it seems to me that Senator Obama wouldn't object so vehemently to having his character and patriotism questioned if they weren't, well... extremely questionable.

Good point Mark. If his character were not so questionable as he wants us to believe, he would easily be able to turn any attack around to his own advantage. His inability to do that is somewhat telling of the kind of leader and unifier he will be. It's interesting that Obama asks for McCain to lay off at the same time that he himself launches his own series of negative attack ads against McCain. According to factcheck.org, his attack ads are as full of exaggerated claims as McCain's attack ads tend to be.

I personally think all attack ads are a healthy part of an election because it gives voters a chance to see how a candidate handles criticism and controversy. I don't care how Presidential a candidate looks when they're drinking tea with the Queen. I want to see how they act under pressure, and attack ads give us a chance to get a small glimpse of that.

It kinda reminds me of the peanuts charlie brown "why is everybody always picking on me"? He is too easy of a target, what do you expect from a man who is ashamed of his middle name. Obama needs to man up and start fighting back harder. If he having trouble dealing with mccaine, how is he going to react if he becomes president and realizes that he can not negotiate with some of these middle east leaders? tell them "lay off" .......

That's the problem. Obama proposes over priced band aids when open heart surgery is required to fix the problems in America. McCain's only slightly better, but will do much good for America if he lives up to the promise to end earmarks and pork.

Any questions about Obama's patriotism---and yes this is an election issue for him---are a result of his own decisions to closely associate with folks like William Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn, and Reverend Wright (his former pastor of 20+ years) who are anything BUT patriotic. Standing up there and blaming John McCain for valid questions about obama's patriotism just makes him look like a cry baby pansy.

Once again, I ask for the quote, because that is absolutely NOT what he said. He was agreeing with a lady who was complaining about the treatment of Veterans. Just because her complaint included a crack about the draft, and he didn't specifically challenge that point out of the 20 or so points she made, you want to spin that to mean he is pro draft? Is ALL liberal logic so fundamentally flawed?

I really wish this discussion would continue until I get here. How many of you read the entire article? I read the post and I don't recall anyone mentioning Barry Obama praising Biden for the following that I copied at the end.

      *****************************************************************************
The Illinois senator also praised Joseph Biden, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman thought to be among the top contenders to be Obama's running mate, for calling for an additional $1 billion for reconstruction projects in Georgia.

      *********************************************************************************
Is this any worse than McCain wanting to clean out the world of terrorists so they don't infiltrate our country. Now Mr. Barry wants tax payers to pay for reconstruction that WE had nothing to do with! That's proof in the pudding that Barry Obama will raise our taxes if he is elected. Explain to me how he is going to lower the debt by creating more? I think it's a ploy to blame it on the Republicans, but since the Democrats outnumber Republicans, they will surely get it passed before Bush is gone unless Bush vetoes it, which I pray he does. My head is spinning so much from his flip flopping that I may have to tune in to Fox's No Spin Zone---NOT! Wake up America---aren't we all just a little tired of this bull from both sides.

Someone mentioned about McCain's affair, but yet I remember when all the Democrats bashed the Republicans for what Clinton did and said it was his personal life--well shouldn't we be saying the same thing about McCain---it's his personal life. I would rather have an old man in office that will try and stop the killing of babies than have one that agrees with murdering them. Good night!

How About "I did not vote to withhold medical care from aborted babies that survived the abortion and were born living". Matter of public record. He did vote for the bill.

and there's "I support the second amendment". Yet every vote he has made has been for gun control. In fact he has not missed a single opportunity to vote against the second amendment.

"I am a Christian" Yet in an interview he stated he believed there is more than one way to enter heaven. A Christian believes what Jesus said is truth and correct. Jesus said in John chapter 14 verse 6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me". So to say there is more than one way to enter heaven is to say Jesus did not know what he was talking about or was a liar! Doesn't sound strictly Christian does it?

While we're discussing not sounding strictly Christian, Mr. Obama supports abortion on demand. He has stated the first legislation he wishes to accomplish if elected president is a bill that will remove all controls and limitations on abortion. This includes the removal of any counseling before abortions, no Parental notification for minor children, and allows for 8 month 3 week term, on demand abortion of completely viable babies capable of surviving on their own. Sounds about as Christian as Lucifer.

You vilify Mr. McCain for using a story from Solzhenitsyn yet you say nothing about Mr. Obama using large portions of Deval Patrick's speeches as his own.

Why is it that as an informed and knowledgeable person of Mr. Obama's political career you have said nothing of how he won is first campaign. Perhaps because it is not to flattering. You see his paid consultant Ronald Davis, who Mr. Obama called the "guru of petitions", and Mr. Davis' team went over the qualification petitions of the incumbent state senator Alice Palmer and the other 3 candidates. Alice Palmer had 1,580 signatures on her petition which was more than twice the required 757. Mr. Davis and his team began to disqualify signatures on any means possible. A Chicago news paper reported names were disqualified for things such as printed names instead of written, a female voter had married after registering and had signed with her maiden name. Ultimately they were able to bring the number of signatures below the 757 mark, thereby getting the sitting incumbent state senator thrown off the ballot. Another candidate, Gha-is Askia had 1,899 signatures yet Mr Davis and his team were able to disqualify enough to bring him below the 757 mark, as well as the other two candidates. But when you consider this was just standard Chicago dirty politics, it comes as no surprise. Not to hard to win an election when your the only candidate on the ballot! A new political wind IS blowing, it's called deny the voters a choice!

But that's not all, Mr. Obama could have helped Chicago rid itself of one of its corrupt political machines in 2006 when John Stroger face re-election against a reform minded liberal democrat in the Cook County primary. Local politicians on both sides who were tired of the corruption lined up to support against Stroger. Yet, Mr. Obama said not a single word either way. Stroger won by a narrow margin. Before the general election Mr. Stroger fell ill, to ill to run. His son stepped in and took his place on the ballot, a questionable action. Democrats were incensed, many refused to support their own candidate, and some announced they would vote for the republican candidate. Only at this time did Mr. Obama say anything. He came out in support of the younger Stroger. Naturally Mr. Stroger won. Since the election both his and his father's administrations have came under federal scrutiny for illegal cronyism and patronage hiring. A retired judge was placed over the investigation after the FBI raided the Cook County office building in September of 2006. Yep, A new wind is blowing, support your local crooked politician and help keep him in power.

Of course you don't want to forget about Mr. Obama's 2007 endorsement of Mayor Daley, who's two aids Robert Sorich and Timothy McCarthy were indicted in 2005 and convicted in 2006 on charges related to rewarding Daley's political allies with jobs and promotions. At least Mr. Obama knows to back the people who control the money and know how to blame the other guy!

I wonder how The Chicago Tribune got wind of the contents of Blair Hull's divorce records, Mr. Obama's opponent in the democratic primary for the U.S. senate. A record that Mr. Obama's consultant David Axelrod knew about. Oh did I mention that Mr. Axelrod's former employer was The Chicago Tribune or that the Tribune dug up this story a couple of weeks before the election and it's contents took Mr. Hull from a 27% Hull to 17%Obama 17% Hynes lead to a third place finish at 10.8%. Yep, a new wind, kinda smells like someone broke wind.

I wonder how Mr. Obama was able to arrange for a California judge to order the release of his opponent's divorce records in his general election run for the U.S. senate. The contents of those records ultimately caused Mr. Obama's opponent Jack Ryan to relinquish the nomination, and no suitable replacement was found. Mr. Obama ultimately ran against a last minute fill in, Alan Keyes. Hmmm, that's some foul wind, someone been eating cabbage!

There is a Hell of a lot more than just this little tide bit of Mr. Obama's political career and history so if you want to talk about being informed and having researched a political candidate you might want to actually be informed or keep your boasting to those weak minded close circle friends your so used to bullying into submission.

John McCain is becoming more and more a JOKE! I thought I had been thoroughly disgusted with him when he did the sacreligious ad showing Charlton Heston in the Ten Commandments movie as Moses parting the water and using that to try and insinuate the Obama was like Moses that he has the power to part the water, but not lead, THAT WAS SO SACRELIGIOUS!! and the lowest road for McCain!

To all the McCain supporters, what "DOCUMENTED FACTS" do you have that makes McCain more qualified on foreign affairs than Obama ??? McCain was NEVER over troops, never lead an army, he was in fact NOT following orders when his plane was shot down and he was captured! He had only flown a few planes and been part of a troop for a short time on the ground; IF he had been following his CO's orders and not flown off course, HE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SHOT DOWN. He then became a POW for five years, so just exactly HOW DOES THAT MAKE HIM QUALIFIED TO BE COMMANDER IN CHIEF more so than OBAMA ? WAKE UP FOLKS, McCain in just another Hitler, in USA form! It's his way or the highway, and we sure as hell have had enough of that with the Bush clan!

              Obama 2008!

that's all McCain can do, because he has become a total low-life! The sacreligious ads he has posted, the low-low attacks on his children, that is unbelievable. I am sick to death of hearing about McCain's 5 years as a POW, he was just 1 of thousands of POW's, and he would not possibly been a POW IF he had followed orders from his commanding officer and not went off course and been shot down! WAKE UP FOLKS do you really think being shot down and being a POW qualifies him to be President ? PLEASE!
McCain never lead troops, never! he was a pilot in the Navy, got in the Naval academy because his dad was an Admiral! He graduated in the lowest 10% of his graduating class, how smart is he??

If you have some TRUTHFUL DOCUMENTED FACTS on McCain's qualifications more so than Obama's to handle foreign affairs, PLEASE STATE IT, but stop using the POW thing, it is getting OLD!

phawk, you are really confused!! Better get your facts from somewhere reliable. If you don't choose to vote for Senator OBama, then just don't vote for him, but if you chose to slander him falsely just because you choose not to vote for him, then you need to get on board the McCain bus, because that's how McCain rolls!! Better check out your boy McCain and see what his voting record is and I have one serious question for you, "how does being a POW for 5 years qualify McCain to be Commander in Chief"? He has NEVER COMMANDED TROOPS! he was shot down in his plane and captured because he did not follow his CO's orders! He was only admitted to the naval academy because his dad was a navy admiral, he also graduated in the lowest 10% of his class, how brillant is he ?

His POW story is getting old and his sacreligious ads are disgusting!!!
