The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. McBush doesn't even have the honor to come out & say what he means --- He does it by dishonorable cowardly insinuations accusing Obama of treason & lack of patriotism

Is this the kind of "Decider" you want ???? ------ More destruction to our national security & the basic fabric of our democracy & honor ???? ----- Not Me

Why is McCain still harping on the "surge" anyway? It is over and America is not thinking about that. We are concerned about our own country going to hell in a hand basket. I think that McCain is stuck in a time warp.

Lmhybrid,,,, McCain is just another Bush -- From all his policies down to his Bush/Cheney/Rove campaign staff.

His economic chief who led us into the financial & mortgage meltdown is married to an Enron exec

His foreign policy chief is a paid lobiest, working for a foreign country

Yesterday's fund raiser for McCain was run by Ralph Reed the partner of Jack Abermoff

On & on it goes, you want more ???

John Sidney McCain is the biggest cheat. He cheats on his wife, he cheats in the "cone of silence". And he thinks just because he was a POW (who let out our classified secrets after just two days of beating) he can get away with cheating. Now, he's trying to cheat the people of the USA. Sidney, listen up, you can cheat your wife, your pastor but not the common folk.

            You should be nervous ----

Your GOP has turned this nation into the enemy we fought against in all other wars & devistated America's national security & foreign security assets in the process

Your GOP has reduced the basic fabric of our democracy to the thickness of single ply toilet paper

Jim, This Dem vs. GOP attitude is what prevents us from fixing the problems we face. When winning the fight becomes more important than fixing the problem, we have much bigger problems. There is plenty of blame to be shared on both sides of the isle.

Indeed & McCain still further divides our country with the wedge issues of abortion & marriage, pandering to the extreme right ---- I prefer to call "wedgie" issues, grabbing America by the shorts not addressing the real important issues facing this country.

I think both candidates are divisive. I have seen no indication from either candidate to indicate much willingness to work together to fix the real problems.

For example, one major problem is that the amount of litigation in our country is out of control. The whole concept of "ability to pay" is killing the average American. This is the reason people can't afford health care. Why can't these guys talk about fixing the real problems instead of putting $100 band aids on broken arms.

I think it's obvious that an individual's character and integrity are of utmost importance in consideration of a candidate for the highest office. It's also a given that a candidate is not going to willingly offer up their own character flaws for people's consideration. Therefore, it is up to their opponents to point out such flaws. While such characterizations may be painful and are often deemed as dirty politics, they are necessary in order for people to get a complete representation of a candidate. This is a necessary part of the process.

When challenged, the candidate has a duty to address the claim if he does not agree with it. If the claim is false, it gives the candidate an opportunity to point out the opponent's lack of due diligence in researching the issue. If the claim is true, it gives the candidate an opportunity to tell Americans why they should overlook that weakness.

In this world, we don't get to choose our enemies, but how we deal with them is telling of our character. If Obama is the leader he is purported to be by many of his supporters, he'll recognize the situation for what it is, and use McCain's attacks to his own advantage. If he can't figure out how to do that, he may not be such a fantastic leader after all.

Interested to hear from any Obama supporters: If character is not essential to determining the candidate and only their stand on policy and issues are relevant, then what is the difference between Obama and Hillary?

I'm not a McCain supporter. However, Obama has not impressed me with any kind of leadership experience, background or record. Isn't this his first term in the US Senate? While being a law professor and having a career in civil service is noteworthy, it hardly seems plausible for a transition into the most powerful office in the world. And McCain does not appear to be any different as he is on the other side of the spectrum.

The parties better get a grip fairly soon to clarify positive policies that will help the nation. The rhetoric is becoming obnoxious.

All this chatter bashing both candidates is not helping us seriously define what person is best to lead our country.

The next person who gets elected, no matter who that is, will certainly face tough challenges with the economy, the Middle East, Russia and possibly even North Asia.

I hope that the divisions from this election do not carry over.

Makes sense Barack Hussein Obama doesn't want to talk about CHARACTER:

Here's video of Obama's father figure, mentor, pastor and 20-yr friend Reverend Jeremiah Wright. The most influential man in the Junior Senator's life:

McCain's character ??? Accusing Obama of legislating against America ????

McCain legislated for the "Cut & Run" from Lebanon following the bombing of the Marine Barracks

McCain legislated against America & the hilghly successful Gulf War 1

McCain legislates against the War on Terror in Afhganistan, Africa & other countries with his "Korean Solution" that goes directly against the sovereign nation he boasts of success in

McCain's own campaign debt was partially paid off from the profiteering on the backs of our troops & war effort by over chargning our troops & country for aviation fuel

McCain continues the devistation to our national security & the loss of foreign security & strategic assets

20 years in the senate and what has John Sidney McCain has to show for all that?
                      - Kissing Bush's ass
                      - Screwing with then model Cindy while still married to his badly injured (and therefore ugly) wife
                      - Calling his wife a trollop and a @!$%# in front of his aides
                      - Flip-flopping on issues faster than you can say "flip-flop"
                      - Claiming credit for initiatives there weren't his and which he once actively opposed.
                      -
                      -

                      Look.

McCain Served. Obama didn't. In fact that's such a big weakness for the Junior Senator that he needs to resort to talking about distant relatives serving in WWII. Which is TOO FUNNY!! Pretty much anyone in America has a relative that served somewhere! LOL!

                      You mentioned National Security? OK.

Do you think the Junior Senator's Cut and Run Unconditional Withdrawal from Iraq will devastate our national security as well as plunge Iraq and the region into turmoil? Or do you think it helps our national security and stabilize the Iraq and the middle east.

                      Nuff Said.

                      LOL!

Hint for Obama supporters: DON'T talk foreign policy. DON'T talk energy. DON'T talk character. DON'T talk religion. DON'T talk being a true American. DON'T talk background and father figures. Did I miss anything? DO stick to SAVING OUR WORLD rhetoric and "McSame! McSame! McSame!" antics!

John Sidney McCain and character? LOLMAO!!

                      - -

There's more but I don't have all the time in the world to talk about John Sidney McCain's character.

That's the best you've got? LMFAO!

                      I rest my case.

I feel comfortable with that matchup. It's that simple!

Right down to middle names! Sidney vs Hussein! LOL! Thanks!

Problem is? Everyone on the planet knows the "maverick" McCain and Bush never got along. In fact they hate each other in many regards. McCain has always been a thorn in Bush's behind. That's why libs liked McCain so much in the past, silly! And that's why the McSame stuff? Doesn't stick.

Yawn, keep up with the times. That was McCain then. McCain today is not the McCain of yesterday. He flips flops on every issue. Part of it has to do with the onset of senility which makes sense given he is what 75 years old?

If we want America to digress back to the past, John Sidney (what a girly name!) McCain is your choice. Pro-past. Pro-prehistoric.

As for his name, America doesn't need a girlie man to be the president. Sidney. LOL! Can you imagine these names: "John Sidney Rambo" or "Arnold Sidney Schwarzenneger"? Nope, you can't. You could on the other hand, imagine Ronald Sidney Reagan. Nice ring to it, huh? LOL.

Ask yourself: are you better off than you were 4 years ago? If you vote McCain, you are asking for 4 more years of the same.

I'm doing everything I can to explain to people why Obama's middle name is HUSSEIN. You can do likewise for McCain! GO FOR IT! LOL! It's that simple.

I watched the Warren forum and knew even before it was over that it was rigged...then it came out that McCain was not even there yet so he could have been getting all kinds of clues from his aides...when he got there I'm sure there were people who met him.. and could have given him written prepared answers he had time to go over....I was so sure it was rigged that it was a satisfaction to me to find out that he lied when he said"I was listening thru the door" and when Warren said he was enclosed in "cone of silence"...both of them were lying...he even had answers ready before the questions were finished...I also saw the Larry King interview of Warren where Warren admitted that the "toss of the coin" was between he and his staff...the candidates did not even participate in the coin toss to see who went first !!
That is such B.S. ...Warren could easily say that here was a coin toss..how do we know?? Also warren says McCain could not have cheated because the Secret Service would "have reported it' ...give me a break...that is not their job...reported it to who?...they don't work for Warren..they work for the govt. and by extension the Senator...and Warren even said that he gave Obama a "clue" to a question that he could not give McCain since he hadn't arrived yet...well, if he knew he hadn't arrived yet, how could he tell us that he was in a cone of silence. All of these people who say he is too honorable to cheat...give me a break...if he cheated on his wife for years...he could cheat at anything !! He can't be trusted...he is too hotheaded...he is a warmonger...he is too old...and he CHEATS !!!

Billy, you are right that the biggest challenge facing whoever wins this election is to unify the Nation. If we can unite as a Nation, we will progress and accomplish something. If we remain divided, we are destined to stagnate fester and rot in our own arrogance. The question is which candidate has the ability to quit blaming the other side, and unite our Nation?

Here's a real litmus test of which candidate, or which party for that matter, really wants to change our national economy for the best. Eliminate all personal and small business federal income tax. Replace that tax with a national sales tax.

                                Charles P,

I would not wish that kind of survivorship on anyone. McCain's POW experience is a survivor's story and his time in captivity was brutal. I do not support his support of America's evidently unlearned lessons from that time, but I do respect his resiliency.

I can't vote for 100 more years (possibly) in Iraq. And I don't see how calling somebody on their personal character attacks is being a cry baby. John Kerry did not address the old bait and switch swift boat tactics author Jim Corsi, Carl Rove and G. Bush used in the last election and it cost him the election.

I am not better off than I was 4 or 8 years ago and while some may say they are, one thing is true for all of us - the privacy and freedoms U.S. citizens rightly held high before the rest of the world in 2000 and before, no longer exist.

A little history lesson. The Federalist Party was founded during George Washington's administration. The goal was to have a fiscally sound and strong national government. The Federalist Party was opposed by the Democratic-Republicans. Interestingly, the Democratic-Republicans opposed strong central government and supported a strict constriction of the Constitution. While the Federalists supported strong states rights. After the Federalist Party dissolved, many of its members formed the Republican party. When the Democratic-Republicans broke up, the Democratic Party was formed and many of its members joined the the former Federalist Party. At that time, members of the Federalist Party were also called Republicans.

Traditionally, the Democrates are called the party of Thomas Jefferson, and the Republicans are called the party of Lincoln.

So, McCain is correct. You really need to do your homework.

Billy,,, OK look at foriegn policy

McCain's Bush foreign policy resulted in the loss of foreign security assets in Africa & other countries it took decades to build -- His foreign policy chief is a lobbiest paid by a foreign country

His foreign policy turned our nation into what we fought against in all other wars. Devistating to our America's national security

"Let me be clear: I will let no one question my love of this country,"

Let me be the first then -- Mr. Obama I question your love for this country. Now try and stop me you pompous idiot.

You wouldn't know love of country if it sat down beside you.
